Recently purchased a new home which came with a new Whirlpool refrigerator. I would have preferred the freezer on the bottom but am very happy with what I have.I find the capacity great! Moving from my previous home my refrigerator had very little space. Now I have more room than food.The shelf arrangement is easy to use and well organized.I am completely happy with my refrigerator!

SEPERATE CONTROLS

I BOUGHT THIS REFRIGERTOR LAST SPRING. IT IS QUIET AND HAS PLENTY OF ROOM AND HAS NICE LINES WITH A CURVED FRONT. IF I HAD KNOWN AT TIME OF PURCHASE I WOULD OF SELECTED A MODEL WITH SEPERATE CONTROLS FOR THE FREEZER AND SEPERATE CONTROLS FOR THE REFRIGERATOR. THE RECOMMENDED SETTINGS ARE NOT COLD ENOUGH FOR THE FREEZER. I HAVE TURNED THE SETTINGS ABOVE THE RECOMMENDED SETTINGS TO COMPENSATE FOR THAT. HOTDOGS AND BREAD DO NOT GET ROCK HARD. UNIT WAS HOWEVER PRICED WELL FOR THE SIZE AND THE ICEMAKER WORKS WELL.

I love this refrigerator, it is so spacious inside, to include the freezer. The glass shelves make it easy to clean and prevents spills from going through to other shelves. And the drawers are so clear that you don't have to open them to see what's inside. It is easy to change the configuration of the shelves and the space on the door is also such a plus.

An OK refrig!

I did my research and decided on this model over a less expensive Frigidaire similar in size and features. It is an OK refrigerator but I wish I had kept my old (1998) Roper ! It had more room and worked fine. I just thought this new Whirlpool would be more energy efficient. Over all the storage space is OK, however the butter shelf is ridicules...you can get a round butter container in the space and pull down the cover. And the notch in the shelf further reduces usable space. A very bad design ! The two shelves on the freezer door are too narrow. You can't get two frozen dinners back to back on the shelf...only 2 inches deep . My Roper was 4 inches deep!
