Purchased this thru the outlet center and it was hassle-free. I got a great price with free shipping. The refrigerator is well made with nice features like glass sheves and a can caddy. Only negatiive is there was no light in the freeze section.

We were looking for a good buy on a fridge that had a good sized freezer as it will be used as an additional food and drink storage space in our garage. its meets all our needs and we are well satisfied with it. It easy to move arouns and reversing the door was quite easy. We did not need one with an ice maker but has provisions for one. it is almond in color...blends in perfectly with the decor of our remodled garage space. We have had whirlpool appliances in the past and they are virtualy maintenance free.

The interior of the refrigerator is well designed. There is no light in the freezer, inconvenient but okay. The motor is exceptionally loud.

After testing my old refrigerator with a consumption meter I decided to get a new one. My old one was costing me close to $50 a month to keep operating. This new Whirlpool brought my monthly expense down to about $20 which is much better, however not near as low as the energy guide label stated. Am an energy auditor for the electric utility here and understand costs of operating appliances. It really should have come down to more like $14 but it was at least lower than before. To satisfy my curiosity I called the Federal Energy Commission & the FTC and learned that the energy star ratings, which previously were more closely scrutinized by independent agencies, now rely more on specifications provided by the manufacturer of a product. For those relying on those ratings for an accurate projection of cost, I would say they are only a ballpark figure, and a big ballpark at that. The refrigerator doesn't have split shelves in the main compartment, with exception of the produce bins, so configuring them to accommodate taller items is limited. Taller items like milk can however fit in the doors. Refrigerator is quieter than my old one, however it is still a little noisy. I got a $100 rebate and am saving some money and am ok with that. I plugged in quite a few other ones at Lowe's and they were all a little noisy so decided to stay with this one and avoid the hassle of lugging this one back. They sure don't make them like they used to!

Our motor on our old refrigerator gave out so we needed a new refrigerator. We do not have a connection to put in one that has a water line and we had specific measurements under a cabinet for it to fit. The refrigerator fits perfect, but, in my opinion, I don't think it will hold up as long as our original refrigerator. My last one lasted about 15 years. I don't like the plastic tray holder which is located between shelves as it is not made sturdy. It also runs the full width and takes up too much room. My other refrigerator had a plastic pull out tray, between shelves, but was only on half of one of the sides. The bottom two pull out trays seem fine. I also miss my ice cube tray holder in the freezer, which this freezer does not have. I do like the shelf on the refrigerator door that can be lifted to accommodate taller bottles.

I do a lot of cooking now I have plenty of room for all my condiments used through the week. plenty of room for large platters and dishes .Freezer is large and easy to reach .

Our new refrigerator fit right into place. Easy to arrange items inside both the freezer and refrigerator areas. Easy clean up too, like the larger width drawer for storing sandwich meats.

The top shelf is only half usable due to the configuration of the light panel above it in the middle. Other shelves are difficult to arrange conveniently.
