Freezer works poorly/Cheap plastic deli drawer broke in >3wk

Full width plastic deli drawer is a cheap piece of junk...split and broke within the first 3 weeks we had it and we did not overload it. Freezer has NEVER frozen ice cream since day one and after only 4 months of owning it, the other items in freezer are not freezing (going soft) and we have to have a repairman out...Ridiculous! We are extremely disappointed.

I got this about 40 days ago for my basement. It can't freeze meat and some other items. Can only store bread in there now. I have had service done under warranty 3 times and they can't seem to get it to freeze enough. The Whirlpool Service Dept is OK, but they have huge blocks. So you either have to block out your whole morning or afternoon waiting for service. This is my first Whirlpool product and will likely be my last.

Builders choice ... it is a refrigerator! It does not have all the "bells and whistles" available these days, but I am good with that! The quality is great though!!!

We bought this as an extra fridge for garage for putting our drinks and extra freezer space. We bought this one because of the big roomy freezer. Very happy with it!

Although the size is a 21cf I think that the freezer section is to large. I would have preferred to have additional space down below. The middle slide out drawer is skinny and blocks your view of any items placed below it and back from the front. Even sliding it out doesn't show whats below the tray.

I bought this because it was on sale and was the floor model. I paid a very good price for this product. The other reason was it was a Whirlpool and I did not want the ice/water in the door. My previous refrigerator was not a Whirlpool and the icemaker failed twice in 15 months. No more ice/water in the door. I wanted a plain old refrigerator that had an icemaker that would dispense into a container in the freezer. Less chance of failure of the icemaker.

My wife and I recently moved into a duplex and we were looking for a quality fridge that we could be happy with. We came across tons of refridgerators and nothing seemed to do the trick or fit into the space. Until we came across this fridge. It does everything we need it to do including making ice because lord knows my wife needs to have her daily ice intake. This refridgerator fills all our needs and more.

I've had this refrigerator for 4 months now and there isn't anything about it that I don't like. The shelves in the door are set up perfect, can hold a gallon of milk and then some. The other shelves easily hold all of the various jars and bottles like ketchup, mustard, pickles, etc. The movable shelf with the attached drawer is extremely handy. The freezer is great also. The bottom is level with the opening, no lip or hump. So if you need to slide something on the bottom that is liquid, like an ice tray, you won't be spilling anything. And best of all it is EXTREMELY quiet. You could have this thing in your bedroom and never wake up when it kicks in.

Interior storage space much smaller than 21 year old fridge it replaced. Full width "deli" drawer falls when trying to fully store it..so must have limits that were not disclosed..same problem with fruit/veggie bins, plus again 1 drawer very small. Cannot even put large items in middle of top shelf due to equipment in the way.

This is a great value for the money. I love having the one piece shelves. And the one piece draw. The large crisper draw holds all my produce. And the door shelves are very good. This refrigerator has a lot of room. The only thing I don't like is after 3 weeks the ice from ice maker still has a fowl taste. Otherwise great product.
