I love my new Whirlpool Fridge. It has all the features I need + an icemaker that will make extra ice when you have heavy use. Great big + for this model! The outside finish does not show fingerprints either yay!

Very good looking fridge! Works quietly and efficiently. Outside finish does not show fingerprints as badly as I expected and the water/ice dispenser is sooo convenient. Inside the shelves can be arranged to suit any need in the fridge part or freezer part. 4 stars because it doesn't have a moisture/humidity control for veggies.

We bought this Whirlpool model from having had a bottom freezer fridge which we did not care for. We are enjoying the side freezer for accessibility and space. As well the fridge has ample space and the ice water dispenser is great.

We bought this 1 year ago and it's a great refrigerator/freezer. HOWEVER, we have had numerous issues with the ice maker that still are not resolved after 4 months and 6+ repair visits.

We purchased the 26 cu ft side by side as our second refrigerator. Last year we purchased a competitors French door model with 2 ice makers. To me this one seems to have more usable space even with the other being bigger. The storage of the ice maker is better than the dual ice makers in the other model. The thing I don't like about this one is the drawers in the ref side don't slide in and out with ease.

This whirlpool replaced my 14 year old whirlpool side by side which is still with us as a spare. The previous refrig started to rust. This new refrig has the on the door ice feature which allows more freezer room. Good feature. The energy saving lights are not great. Blue tint is attractive at first but too dim. The refrig door staying open on its hing is a problem. It is heavy and wants to swing open on its wn. Crash! You have to be careful. Lots of nice space. Attractive design with a curved door front. Smooth handle, this is a white refrig., is better then the previous handle that had a rough plastic finish and eventually turned yellowish and looked dirty. I do not care for the water/ice maker set up. We will see about longevity.

I bought this unit based on Whirlpools reputation and my past satisfaction. It is a good refrigerator, but a couple of things need improving: the dispenser takes a good deal of pressure to activate and, therefore, the ice keeps coming after the glass is removed. The door doesn't close automatically at the 3/4 close position--it has to be manually closed. The trim plate at the bottom is ugly.

The refrigerator has plenty of storage! The shelf spacing allows for large platters to gallon milk containers without having to rearrange the entire refrigerator. A definite plus!The only drawbacks are the halogen light doesn't give off enough light to make the interior easy to see if the kitchen light is off, and also you must leave the glass under the ice maker for a second after you stop pressing...there always seems to be 2-3 cubes that fall out.

Refrigerator installed during a kitchen renovation project. The doors makes a scraping or creakign noise when opened and closed. The replacment filter is not exact and though it locked into place, the monitor displays "Filter Replacement needed".

We brought this plus other kitchen items. 9/1/2014. The refrigerator dose a fair job but the ice maker is a real issue. The service company that take care of whirlpool warranty problems' have been here 4 times to work on the ice maker. And so far they haven't had any luck fixing it. The other issue is that when they fail to repair it we have to wait till they can get time to return and try it again as much as 2 weeks with no results. As for now it 10/24/2014 waiting for the service company get around to trying it again. We ask for a replacement at the place we purchase it. Was told that we need an authorization from Whirlpool. Ask for this with no luck .
