If there was a zero star option, I would give it that. I never knew a fridge could suck so bad until I purchases this appliance. We bought one in Oct 2013, had problem after problem and it had an issue that could not be repaired. After about 24 hours of phone time arguing with whirlpool about the issues and warranty, we were given a second one of this piece of garbage model. It's loud, it makes so many strange noises,it doesn't seal properly, any time we have company we run out of ice fast, freezes foods in back of fridge, issue after issue with 2 of the same models, we are fridge shopping again due to Another issue that appliance repair man cannot fix. I will never, EVER purchase another Whirlpool product in my life.

I bought this fridge 2 months ago for my new home and have found it good. I bought it mainly because it was part of the white ice line. One aspect of the fridge I don't like is the size. The fridge itself is big but the space inside is not. I'm not sure if the non-french door type fridge would have more space inside or not.Also I have not hooked up the water or icemaker yet due to the position of the fridge.

We bought this refrigerator because ours was dying and we wanted way more space. It works great! I love the spaciousness of this fridge. I love the three drawers in the refrigerator side plus the ice maker on the door versus inside is so nice. I never run out of room!My only complaint is the noise. When the ice maker is refilling it can be really loud.

Our fridge died on us after a power outage and we were strapped for a new one. Plus, we were newly engaged and wanted to get a NEW fridge and not a craigslist find. We wanted one that was affordable, looked great, had a trusted brand and lots of space. An ice machine/water filter we knew would be a luxury and also knew that we would most likely have to make sacrifices for our budget. With this fridge we did not have to make any sacrifices at all! There is tons of space, a great look and we love the extra digital features (such as the alert that lets you know your fridge or freezer door has been open after a certain amount of time. We are very pleased with not only the product and the level of service we have received thus far. We are in the market for a new microwave next and plan on shopping for a Whirlpool!

This product was a little disappointing. I was replacing from a 23.5 Cu. Ft fridge and I feel like I have less room. The shelves in the doors hold less, due to the excessive amount of plastic used on each shelf. The inside shelves a much shorter than my old fridge as well. I do like the ice maker and water dispenser. Overall nice fridge just disappointed in space design.

So far I love my fridge. The handles is what makes this fridge different from just another white fridge. The door- in -ice is also great. Two draw backs, it's sort of loud and the water comes out room temp(not cold). Tired to make the temp of the fridge colder, but water is still room temp.

It has a good amount of storage and space.My only knock is that it does take a long time for a new bin of ice to accumulate, even with the fast ice option. The ice dispenser is also unusually loud. This would not discourage me from purchasing this unit.

I love it.Besides being attractive to view with it's bright white color and metal hardware, it does everything I wished for.The in the door ice maker is always providing fresh, just the right sized cubes. I enjoy the sound of the fresh dropping ice as it shares that it's ready to give to the party's needs.I did add one extra shelf for my personal requirement. Improvement over our 18 year old model. Glad we were able to get in white since all my other appliances are still white & mostly all you see now is silver. The silver handles on this model do make it feel it is more with the going thing. Would have hoped it would have been a little quieter, you can hear the compresser more over our old model.

We replaced a GE Profile that would not keep the food at 37* ! This new refrig keeps everything at the temp. setting, plus the freezer works as well as the old chest freezers. The doors close nice and tight. It is sad that retrailers are not offering this model in the line up............

We just bought this fridge and we are so happy with it. I love the fact that the freezer doesn't have a big box taking space in it. It has 3 slots up on the top that just drop the ice into the holder which is on the inside of the door. Love the white with steel handles and the blue lights on the water dispenser are super pretty. Very pleased and no complaints!

With a large family we needed plenty of space, especially for gallon size jugs. While this does have three gallon size shelves on the door, there is no possible way to configure them so they will all hold gallon jugs. That said, we can still get 4 gallons on the door which frees up much shelf space. We really like the third drawer in the fridge and the ice maker in the freezer door. Overall we are pleased with our purchase.

Vegetable bin and meat drawer are great. So nice to open and look in and see exactly what you have. No more hidden moldy items with these clear drawers. I bought this in May, was repaired the first time in May. I was given a new door because the old one did not line up. Within a couple months I noticed the door again was out of line. And it started making a staring noise. This time we had to call a repair company our appliance store referred us too. I have been married 50 years and never had a refrigerator repaired even after having it for more then ten years. Two repairs and it is starting to make that same noise again tell me I got a lemon. Will not but Whirlpool again.

We thought we had picked a winner. We must have researched side by side fridges for at least a month. We loved our GE but it was old and needed to be replaced. So we read all the reviews as well and figured the bad reviews for this Whirlpool must have been from those who got "lemons". Wrong! This refrigerator is nice looking but very noisy. When I sit in the kitchen early in the morning I hear all kinds of weird sounds coming from it....some like an alien ....to click, click, clicking, .....to the ice cubes literally scaring the dickens out of me when they drop and the water filling the trays. Oh and the ice cubes fly out onto the floor unless you hold your container way up to the top. Let's not forget the fact that when we opened the freezer door there was a big gaping area. Two shelves were not there. We had to buy some to fill in the gap. That wasn't right. One of my problems is that the water coming out of the dispenser on the freezer door is almost Warm!!!! Why is that? the instruction book said it is chilled to a temp of 50 degrees. I had no idea that a glass of 50 degree water would be so warm. Oh, and the ice cubes are very small and melt rapidly. We bought real ice cube trays and fill them up and freeze them so we won't run out. Of course that takes up room that could be used for something else. It took forever for the ice bin to actually fill. Perhaps 4 days and then they go so fast. Just not happy with this model. Sorry.

Ice maker makes a lot of noise while making ice and serving ice, shelves have limited arrangement choices, light on ceiling of fridge hinders storage space on top shelf.
