I am not particularly happy with this refrigerator. The ice ejector throws ice cubes all over after stopping. The refrigerator door does not close when it is over halfway closed without making sure it is pushed to close. We were limited by space requirements when purchased. I am less than thrilled with the whole smart settings.

upgraded to this fridge a few weeks ago from the exact same model that was 15 years old. the old one was leaking and had broken parts, etc. we got same model as we wanted the indoor water/ice, stainless and because it was the only fridge that would fit the space. a little disappointed in the quality v old model. lots of plastic v metal, shelves v bins in freezer, etc.. The ice maker didn't work from the get go; had to have it serviced to get it to work. water hose to ice maker was air bound; even leaked a bit on wood floor. ice maker is also a lot smaller than the older model. overall it is working well now and we are getting used to it. time will tell how we really feel about it.

Overall this is a pretty solid fridge. Looks good and there aren't massive issues. One complaint however is the ice dispenser. After some practice it works OK, but for some reason the dispenser likes to shoot cubes out randomly, sometimes a long time after its been used. Also, the water that comes out isn't exactly cold, it would be preferable if it was cooled a bit before dispensing.

I purchased this fridge in July 2014, this was the second one, the first one delivered on fathers day did not work. I have to say its the worse fridge I have ever owned... It scratches when wiping it clean, its so narrow inside that a pizza box is too big and if you add a gallon of milk on the shelves you cannot fit anything other than a quart. As far as the freezer goes it does not fit anything and it launches ice cubes randomly. I wish my 16 year old Amana did not start failing I would still be using it... I can guarantee I will not get even close to that life span on this one

I love the 3 drawers with glass fronts and the way it's so easy to clean the glass. I even like the egg holder in the door I like the deep door shelves that help keep the refrigerator organized. My husband loves the stainless steel. Only fault is the in door I've maker almost always drops one cube on the floor. It's been a few months and we have learned to wait it out. But that is the only fault. I love how quiet it is. And how much I've it makes.

We were limited to the size refrigerator we could purchase. This fit perfectly. Ordered stainless steel handles on black - very attractive. Have had a side-by-side previously so know the limitations on shelf space - but easy to find items. Door holds a lot of items. Would have preferred separate water and ice outputs on the door - slower to fill. Keeps food fresh but need to experiment with settings more.

We replaced our appliances with stainless ones and this refrigerator was perfect. We needed a 33 inch wide that would also fit our cabinet height. This unit is perfect! Very quiet and sleek looking. Lots of room in the freezer since the ice is stored in the door. Even cooling and super nice shelves. Large bins in the door.

I bought this unit just 3 months ago....it is in SS and looks very sharp. It was also one of the very few units on the market with dimensions that were exactly what I needed for my space. Size is just right....it actually is well organized and allows for more storage than you'd first think. It keeps the temp very well. I have laboratory grade digital temperature recorder and freezer is solid at -20C and the fridge is at 4C with very tight tolerance even with doors open and closed. Water hook up was easy....maybe a little loud when crushing ice....otherwise very happy....hope it will last (knock on the wood)

We love everything about the fridge but the ice maker and water dispenser. 1st the water dispenser won't work when the fridge door is open. I understand not using the freezer but the fridge door just throws me for a loop. The second issue is with the ice marker. Every once and a while ice gets trapped inside the door and starts to melt and then re-freezes into a ball which makes the ice dispenser un-useable until you pry everything apart and clean it out. We had the fridge for a month and this has happened 4 times now.

We recently purchased our refrigerator after having our old refrigerator for 21 years. We were very excited with the new whirlpool refrigerator as it was going to save us money on electricity and it had a water filter built in that would be easy to change. It also used led lighting and was the black color that we had wanted to color coordinate our kitchen. It was smaller than our old one but it also took up less space. It seemed as though it had a smart design and lots of door space. However after a month of operation it is clearly louder than our old one and the ice maker is not as good as our old refrigerator. The ice comes out all at once and it is hard to keep from going on the floor when you get ice.and the water dispenser tends to drip after use. Very disappointed, and not what i expected from a new appliance. It seems to work well as far as refrigeration and the drawers are a good size and are keeping things fresh but only time will tell as the appliance is still new. I am very disappointed in the ice maker though.

We installed this side by side refrigerator in our motor home. First, it fit perfectly and then it cools very well. The unit reached desired temperature relatively quickly and holds it there at slightly below zero in the freezer and 36 to 39 degrees in the refrigerator portion.The ice and water dispenser works well and I like the ice bucket being in the door as it takes up less space in the freezer. And I will admit, it makes ice pretty fast. Overall, quite pleased with the unit.

We have limited space so this style and size is all that will fit for us. We're hoping it does as well as our previous Whirlpool unit. Having the ice maker in the door certainly increases freezer space. Great looking....in and out. I just wish it would produce ice faster!

We bought this refrigerator a month ago and really like it. There is a lot of space in the refrigerator and freezer and the lighting is great. The only thing that is bothersome is the water/ice dispenser. The spout where the water comes out is to far away from the push lever so when you hold your glass for water and/or ice and push back the lever sometimes the spout will miss the glass and the water will go all over and onto the floor.

The interior lighting is good and the unit cools and freezes efficiently but the water and ice feature leave a lot to be desired. Unlike so many other manufacturers, the water does not dispense "cold" water. It is more like room temperature and the ice mechanism is noisy, and throws ice everywhere but in the glass. Ice will inevitably wind up on the floor and sometimes the unit will dispense ice many minutes after the feature was used. A very poor design. Due to the limited space we had available for a refrigerator we were hoping that this would be the answer to our needs......not so. Disappointing to say the least.

Hate it. First model was ok crushed ice nicely but broke just stopped cooling day before my birthday with ice cream cake in it and lobster. All went bad this was only 6 months old then this model was discontinued so hoped next model would be better. NOT. Got this type mainly for crushed ice and water feature but this just makes a mess, squirter is too far out and squirts everything but your glass and I dont crush ice cause its messy. Everything falls out of freezer. Not sure why they change things if not for the better. If I had to do it over I would do full fridge on top, freezer drawer on bottom. Dont get this we did not have many options since we have limited space.Good luck!!

Love the outside ice & water dispenser as well as the temperature controls. The ice maker is so easy to get to & love the easy to remove container. Just wish the freezer was bigger but had to get the smaller refrigerator to fit in the kitchen.

Bought this when our Kenmore died. It fits the bill just fine. My only complaints are that ice cubes stick together in the ice maker, presumably because this is an in-door ice maker. I think it's because the cube container gets warm. Oh, and 1 of the 3 drawers is plastic on plastic, and so it sticks when you open it.

I like that the refrigerator is deep for its size, and has a lot of space, but I think the shelves could have had more flexibility and being able to be adjusted better. The water dispenser works well, but the mouth of the ice dispenser is too wide and spills the ice to the sides, and on the floor. That has been a problem from day one, and the service person told us that all them have the same problem. So, overall, I'm happy with this refrigerator, but the ice dispenser is definitely a problem.

Purchased this at end of 2013 when I bought my first home. It looks nice and was one of the only ones available from Whirlpool that would fit my kitchen dimensions. I generally prefer whirlpool for refrigerators but this was my first purchase (previously had always just gone with what was in the rental I was in). My main problem is that the seals along the door come off very very easily-they are pretty shoddy construction and dont seem to be fixed to the inner part of the door. So if you arent careful, you end up with an open door without realizing it. I've woken up several mornings to find that the door was slightly open all night. I can probably fix this with some glue but I don't feel I should have to 'fix' anything on a brand new refrigerator.

Not real pleased. It is by far smaller than I am accustomed to, which is not the manufacturers problem. The design is such on the freezer side, because it is so narrow, many products will not fit. Especially on the door shelves. The ice maker drops ice randomly on to my wood floor. And the doors seem to need an extra push to close.

The new refrigerator looks great and works great. I wish that I was able to get a bigger refrigerator, but my space was only so big. I like the ice maker and bucket in the door of the freezer - it leaves more room in the main part of the freezer.

The fridge itself works fine. The in door ice maker helps reclaim some of the lost freezer space since its 33 in wide.The ice maker/ water dispenser is what I don't like at all. Ice is slow to make and come out. Then when you move your glass out of the way it decides to drop an extra piece of ice or two on your floor.The water dispenses slowly.If you want to look in the fridge while you are waiting for the water (I like to mulit task since it takes forever to get a glass of water), you can't because it stops flowing as soon as you open the fridge door.

The refrigerator was delivered on April 17,2014 & ice maker was very slow filling ice container, & on April 24 it quite making ice. Repairman came on May 2 & said electronic control board for ice maker was bad & it would be May 5th or 6th before he would be back with part to fix. This is first Whirlpool product I have owned & I am not pleased with this product with this product.

We had this for about 8 months. No issues with performance. One thing that I have noticed is that the water line plumbing includes a large coil inside the refrigerator. This water line seems to build up with deposits which break free from time to time. It is annoying. I would consider a design that didn't have this if I were starting over. Designs with the filter inside seem to have a shorter water line. Also, the water dispensing is rather slow, really too slow compared to other refrigerators we have seen. (Our water pressure is 30 to 50 PSI). As with other brands, this one does through an ice cube on the floor occasionally. I don't know if all brands do or not.

we purchased this item 6 mos ago and after one week had to replace sensor in ice maker as it quit working. Also, crushed ice dispensing hangs frequently and stops forcing you to use cube dispenser to unclog it and finally the crushed ice blows passed the glass or cup and out into the floor as shoot just isn't designed to confine the ice in the glass or cup. The refrigerator and freezer have worked very well with no problems.

I'm extremely happy with my refrigerator. I've found the bins and door storage areas to be ample and the shelves can easily be set up to the customer's needs. I got mine in black and have found it very easy to keep the exterior clean. The only slight bug to the whole unit is that the ice dispenser tends to sling the ice out. You have to learn how to position the glass and to keep the glass under the dispenser long enough for all of the residual ice to come down. But, overall, I love this refrigerator!

We got the fridge just before the Christmas holidays 2013 and served us well in this busy time of year. Now that we are back to normal use the performance and features are what we expected, Ice and water in the door,... Beyond our exceptions is the LED light in the door what a perfect night light, the LED is energy efficient and provides good light.
