Had <3 years and parts already breaking

We bought this fridge less than 3 years ago, and recently, the plastic liner part under the right door has cracked. There was no trauma to that part, so it's baffling that it cracked. We've had this thing for such a short period of time. I'm trying to look online for a replacement part and can't even find the correct part to fix it. Such a piece junk. Not worth getting.

Refrigerator works well but flaw with doors

This refrigerator was sold with our house we bought in 2016. It was manufactured in 2015. After a couple years of use we noticed the right top door would "pop" and eventually started dropping when we opened it. After a few months of this, it required us to manually lift the door in order to close it. Looking at the bottom hinge point of the door, there was plastic on the corner where the cam sets in. This was cracked and broken off, which is what was causing the door to drop upon opening. After having a home warranty technician out, we found out the whole door assembly would need to be replaced. I purchased a door in November of 2018 and installed it. Everything was working great up until June of 2019 when we started hearing the same "pop" upon opening. I looked and the same plastic piece on the door is cracked and broken. After contacting Whirlpool and answering many questions they opted not to help with any repair since I had installed the door myself and didn't have a Whirlpool technician replace it. The job is not an intricate or complicated one. So my only option is to spend another $400-500 dollars to have a technician replace the door again and hope I don't have another issue. We've opted to replace with a different manufacturer.

Enjoying my new fridge!

Love the look of this refrigerator. Took it a few days for it to come up to temperature, but it is holding steady now. Only complaint we had was the plastic wrap protecting the finish. It must have been done at the factory. It was underneath the seams around the doors and freezer door. It was very hard to remove and there is blobs of glue inside the door hinges and top of the door that are a little unsightly. But, other than that we are very pleased.

I needed a smaller fridge & loved the whirlpool reputation & the look of this model. Only negative is that you can open the left door alone. But when you shut it the right door pops open. Other than that we love it.

Can see things even in the back and in drawers

Can see things even in the back and in drawers. Only problem we have found that if anything falls off of the top drawer on the freezer goes into no mans land. Hard to get items out. At times there is a annoying noise when it is running.

Great choice

While looking for a refrigerator we ran into problems finding the right size, we had limited space, this refrigerator was a great fit. Beautiful interior, great lighting and spacing. This is our first refrigerator with a bottom freezer. We purchased it a couple of months ago, so far my wife loves it. Black was a must, this model has stainless steel door handles which really sets the appliance off. Great looking refrigerator.I definitely would recommend!

I bought this In January, and couldn't be happier. I did a lot of research to find this style that would fit in the space I have, as well as consumer reviews on quality. I now know it was worth it. This refrigerator is beautiful to look at, quiet and functions flawlessly. I will not buy any other appliance but a Whirlpool (washer and dryer on the horizon.) Great purchase.

It's what I wanted; haven't had any problems with it, but have only had it since November 2, 2016. I do not have the icemaker connected, so I can't rate that, but as far as the other features I love the roomy freezer on the bottom and still getting used to the top part on where to place things. But it is very quiet compared to my old refrigerator (but as I said, I don't have the icemaker connected). I love the black Ice color.

French Door Fridge

We have had our French Door Whirlpool for about a month. Over all it's ok. The instruction manual was not real helpful. Trying to find out how to install the air freshener and air filters was not covered very well. As for the unit itself, items in the top of the freezer drawer tend to shift around and sometimes prevent it from closing. The refrigerator unit has very little room for tall items like milk jugs and 2 liter bottles. After decades of side by sides, we are slowly getting used to this new arrangement.
