The compressor on my refrigerator / freezer quit working over the weekend (11/3/2019). This fridge was just under 4 years old (one month off) and only has a one-year warranty. I never thought I would have to replace my fridge so soon after purchasing it.

Fridge seems to work ok. I had to loosen the doors and realign them using a tool provided with the unit. Shouldn't that be done by the time it's delivered? There was removable protective plastic film on the doors, which is good. It extends under the door handles and a few other places, which is not good. According to Whirlpool customer service, I need to remove the handles to get the remnants of the plastic film off. The procedure is in the owner's manual. Ridiculous.

I was excited to get my new French door refrigerator, I have had it 15 months. I was very pleased, but I have had trouble with the bottom drawer, very difficult to open and close the drawer. I have had chunks of ice fall on the floor, when trying to open the bottom freezer drawer. This evening I looked under the drawer and there is about 2 inches of ice built up. No wonder it is so difficult. Should have stayed with my side by side.

This is the second fridge. The first one couldn't get lower than 40 degrees on the coldest (five snowflakes) setting. Repairman came out twice and replaced all electronics..Didn't help... I called the sales company and they replaced the fridge...Now, this second doesn't cool either...I set it to 5 snowflakes and got it down to 37 degrees... Also, it took 4 months for the first fridge to get here and only 25 days for the second. They did give me a 10% refund for the scratches on the front of the second fridge..

Was very happy with my selection until a few days after it was installed.stopped making much ice...after a couple of days I pulled it out and found water all over the floor. The pan under it was full and overflowing...cleaned up the mess and called for repair. Not space efficient. Shelves don't fit large items

I bought this refrigerator about 4 months ago as a replacement for my 18 year old whirlpool side by side. This unit is supposed to be more cubic feet but doesn't hold as much as the old side by side. I thought that I was upgrading by getting the three door freezer on the bottom unit. I should have got another side by side. The French doors on this unit do not always close properly and this is an issue when your hands are full or you have children getting things out of the refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator 4 months ago and love it. It's perfect for one person or a small family. Plenty of storage space and the French doors make for easy access. Also saves on the electric bill.
