First purchased the refrigerator for my home a few years ago. Love the double door opening for the fridge. It makes it easier to put in the left over pizza boxes or sheet cakes. Easy to clean. When I purchased a townhome, I bought another one!

This refrigerator does a great job keeping food cold and fresh. Looks great, too. Ice maker is a little noisy, but not disturbing.

I wasn't sure about getting a Counter Depth refrigerator, but we really like how it is more streamlined in the kitchen without a big box sticking out. Took awhile to get used to the design and a little less room than a side by side, but we like it now. Freezer is fine below also.

Great layout, surprisingly large interior fridge capacity, note that freezer space is somewhat limited. Very long vegetable lifetime, which was a nice surprise. Only glitch in the design is shelf layout -- to allow airflow along the back of the unit all the interior shelves are set forward, meaning small items get pushed off the back of the shelf. Certainly not a deal-breaker, just slightly annoying from time to time.

When we received this refrigerator the upper doors had insulation material showing through seams at the top of the doors; right at eye level. We had the doors replace two more times before finding some that were marginally acceptable. In addition, the freezer constantly has frost problems. Every time we open the freezer drawer, ice formed from the poor seals falls to the floor. There is always ice forming at the top of the door, just inside the seal. Also, there is often what looks like snow forming all over the food and ice tray. In addition, this unit is very noisy.

We really love the space of the refrigerator. The only issues we have are with the freezer. The switch to activate the light often is frozen in place. Ice cubes often fall out behind the drawer and onto the floor. There is not much space in the freezer. We have a stand alone freezer, so this isn't a huge issue for us, but does become inconvenient at times. Overall, I would recommend this model.

I love that this is counter depth and no water functions in the door. It is rather loud when on or filling water dispenser. Also, the no bottom part on the freezer is a little cheap and odd... just wire baskets....

This fridge is beautiful! It is just what we wanted for width, height, and counter depth. We love the water dispenser on the inside of the fridge wall. We also like that we can see everything we have in our freezer! We do not care too much for the fact that the shelves do not go the whole way to the back of the fridge, tho. Things have been getting knocked over because it slides off the shelf partially. I'm not quite sure why a fridge with limited space inside makes it even more limited by not having shelves that go the entire way to the back. The hum of the fridge is a bit like the sound of when a toaster oven is on, something that is definitely not a deal breaker. There was not an exact product to look at before purchase at the store we were at, or that may have been a problem for us then and there. All in all, the look of the outside, the space in the freezer and added bonus of water feature INSIDE the fridge itself is a great addition to this refrigerator.

I was skeptical about the counter depth and loosing space but this fridge is amazing. The space in the doors are wonderful. Milk, wine bottles everything fits. I actually have more space than the regular one because of that.

We replaced a 10+ year old GE that was not keeping food cold. Temp computer kept flexing causing food to spoil. The guys delivered early AM rolled out unit we quickly cleaned up area while they installed new water line placed right behind unit. Leveled installed shelving set temp hooked up water checked for leaks & moved old unit into garage that we use for extra beverages & freezing. We like smooth sleek black finish that matches our new dishwasher. Water & Ice maker located inside keeping the outside clean look, spacious for inside storage. Alarms works great however left door has a flap to enhance sealing however I thing the left needs to close first to prevent doors popping back open. Otherwise very nice storage, with temp control drawers, water dispenser w/. freezer in bottom pull out draw w/ice maker includes option to shut off ice maker & use for more storage. The temp settings & other storage drawers work nicely with alarm to alert doors are ajar. Runs quiet looks nice and please this is a counter depth unit. Measure your space you have to place your unit. We almost shopped performance, style and price overlooking the critical measurements..until we had the specs printed & the salesman stressed to measure measure measure. We loved one unit so much we were making ourselves believe it would fit while in many instances in life size does or may not matter, for fridge it does !! We considered 5 inch deeper unit, we said let's get it. The salesman recommended go home slide out our current unit out the 5 inch distance. We got home rolled out our fridge, the doors opened into the middle of the kitchen. Wow he was on the money. We love this unit & recommend this if you like a clean exterior with two door /freezer below still have water dispenser /ice maker inside. Works great looks nice quiet fits like a glove due to salesman although that was a few extra bucks. But again note the left door with flap could potentially pop open if not closed first or forcefully.

Nothing But Headaches!

We purchased this product in March and every time the repair man leaves I hope this will be the last time we have to call him. We have had continual problems with frost in our freezer! First he replaced the freezer door. Then when we continued to have frost problems he said something in the freezer was preventing it from closing properly. So, now we only keep the freezer partially full. The next visit from the repair man we were told the rubber sealers were out of alignment. Now we try to ensure the freezer is closed properly with no wrinkles in the seals. We NEVER thought a refrigerator/freezer could be so much trouble! In the past we had purchased different Whirlpool products and thought them very reliable but no more, we definitely got a lemon this time. When we purchased this product we never thought we would be spending time making sure the seals were closed properly, or that we could not fill the freezer up. Now we think we may have to purchase a freezer for additional freezer space. NO we would not purchase this product again!
