We are so happy with this new refrigerator! It's really roomy inside and the best part is the new stainless-steel finish! It's so easy to clean and fingerprints and dirt don't show up and if something does get on it, it's easily cleaned. (Not like my old one that never looked clean from day 2.) The water dispenser and the ice cube maker are both inside but work so much better than our old higher priced piece of junk LG!!

I bought this travesty from Home Depot in 2017 and I wish that I never did...EVERYDAY. This is, without a doubt, the absolutely poorest designed fridge that I've EVER owned. Let's start with the french doors. They do not close properly. Everytime I close either side I have to make sure the opposite side doesn't pop open just enough to release the cold air. Next, the shelves are poorly designed. There is a large gap at the rear allowing food to fall down into the interior behind the vegetable boxes. The shelves are also very difficult to clean. They have very tiny seams between metal and glass allowing gunk to get in. Extremely difficult to remove. I have to use a toothbrush. Next the freezer light consistently freezes in the off position. Finally, keeping the refrigerator temp setting at manufacturer recommendation food freezes in back. Setting temp higher results in food in front not being kept at recommended safe level. Also, the gloss paint finish sucks. Shows every finger and hand print. The stippled metal finish which I had in my previous fridge is far superior. Final thoughts about the freezer compartment. This is something particular to the French Door design with a pull out freezer door. Food organization is impossible. It's all about opening the door and bombs away and then dig around pulling stuff out to find what you need. I wish to God I had never bought this refrigerator and look forward to when it dies. Then I can go back to conventional style fridge.

I bought the refrigerator last mount and the doors had to doors adjusted and a inside piece had to be remove so that the whole refrigerator could be use,and if the door was left open there was no sound that a door had not fully closed.

We've had this refrigerator for a few weeks. It's so quiet compared to our older refrigerator and it puts out so much less heat from the back. The interior is laid out well for convenience and care for your produce. The light fills the entire unit terrifically. The French doors feature is more convenient than a side by side. I can find no faults...we love it!

The refrigerator looks good, the glass shelves are nice, and temperatures are kept precisely where I want them (just above 32 for fridge and just below 0 for freezer). The recommended setting is 4 out of a maximum coldness of 7 but I set it at 6 to get my desired temps, which are slightly lower than recommendations. The fridge doesn't have some features (door alarm, blower stops when door is open) that my previous one did but my previous one went through three compressors in seven years. Which brings me to my main point: reliability. I will LOVE this fridge if it performs without hiccups for 7-10 years. We'll see. Meanwhile, I like it!

I am still waiting for the handle for the bottom freezer. They striped the first handle by using a electric drill, when they should have used the small hand tool that came with the handle to put it on. Trying opening a freezer door with no handle.

According to the salesman and the owner's manual, my refrigerator should have had the actual temperatures displayed for the refrigerator and freezer. But no, it was the old fashioned "4" and "4" settings for both. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

I had the same make and model for the last 10 years without to many issues. So why not get the same thing only newer. If you get 10 years out of any appliance without problems, you did well. If this unit last 10 years like the last one without to many issues, then I will change my ratings to a five at that time.

I've had condensation issues with water collecting on the top of the freezer seal from day one. I let it go a few weeks before finally calling for service. Then, the repair shop cancelled the appointment, so I am still waiting to get it fixed. I didn't want the hassle of trying to repair a brand new refrigerator.

Open the freezer this morning and the ice cubes were water. Everything was thawed out. Called Whirlpool and they seemed to know about this problem. They told me to unplug the refrigerator for two minutes and they plug back in. It's called a hard reset! Everything is now working again.I guess this is common. So after cleaning everything up and throwing out all the food we will need to restock.
I did not get a warm feeling when she said it can happen again!
My refrigerator is less than two years old.

I have looked at this refrigerator for over a year and am so happy to finally got it. I redid my kitchen and got all whirlpool appliances and I love them all. The refrigerator is quiet. Love the middle drawer and all the room. I think my favorite is the freezer on the bottom and how easy it is to see my items. I had a side by side before and was hard to fit certain items and it looked a mess. I also like how I dont notice fingerprints. It is easy to clean and I love the style.

We bought this fridge to replace one that came with the house last year. The house and all the appliances were all brand new. The fridge that came with the house was terrible. The ice maker needed service twice within the first couple of months. There was literally no room for much of anything and it wasn't keeping cold enough so we lost some food.
This new fridge is awesome!!! We love it! And it keeps everything at the right temperature. Easy to clean and looks beautiful. And one more thing: it is made in the good ole' USA. Need I say more?

We love the fridge. Not having ice/water in the door gives a lot more interior space. Everything is conveniently located and well thought out. The down side is that it's built cheap. Shelves and drawers are flimsy, gaps in the exterior doors between the metal and insulation, and all switches/knobs feel like they will break under the lightest touch.

This is without a doubt the worst piece of junk refrigerator-freezer I have ever had the misfortune to own or use. Continuously noisy, clunky sounds coming from it at all hours. My wife has thought there was someone in the house after hearing some of the noises coming from it. Clunking sounds throughout the day and night from it. The freezer is terrible. It is small and holds very little. Worse than that is the inability to know if the freezer has closed properly. We have repeatedly found that the door was ajar, but the light wasn't on. Stay away from this refrigerator-freezer. This is a whirlpool problem not the retailer problem, although the retailer usually has to pay the price for the piece of junk whirlpool has built. This morning, for an untold number of times, I went to get ice and there was two-inches of water in the ice tray. The door was open slightly, but you could not tell by looking at it. Stay away from this, you have been warned. We didn't notice when we bought it that there was an inside filtered water dispenser. When the delivery guy set it up he showed it to us and we thought, well, it was a pretty good idea. We were wrong. It is one of the worst ideas in an appliance that is filled with the worst performance and ideas I have seen. In order to get any reasonable amount of water you have to leave the door open for long periods of time. Freezer light is intermittent, appliance is noisy, clunky sounds, undependable, ill-performing junk from Whirlpool. Most of the below deserved a rating below 1-star. Convenient star system that assures at least one-star for a product that deserves no stars. Do not buy. Even this website is terrible. It asks for a nickname and doesn't warn you that the nickname chosen has been used. You have to wait until you hit submit to find out it is not available. Terrible, terrible, terrible, from a company had previously thought more highly of. This review is about this refrigerator and the poor quality of this evaluation not the rest of their products.

We like all of the features of this refrigerator. Having the water dispenser inside seems to be a good fit for our use. There isn't any wasted space as there is with external dispensers. If any improvements were to be made I would have liked a on/off button for the ice maker and have the freezer top basket roll out when you open it,
