Good basic fridge that's energy efficient. I've had it for a number of years and everything has held up well mechanically. My major gripe is there is only one large crisper drawer on the bottom that can't handle the weight if filled with fruits and vegetables. The thin, cheaply made arms will start to crack with a replacement cost of $73 including shipping. They should have utilized two draws instead of one. If you don't plan on storing any fruits and vegetables or anything heavy in the crisper drawer then it shouldn't be a problem.

If you aren't looking for anything fancy and complicated and want just a basic, reliable, energy-efficient, roomy fridge, this is a great pick. The shelves are adjustable, ample freezer, nicely organized door shelves. No frills, but fine and wonderful for basic needs. Very large bottom drawer which is enough. I don't like a lot of small drawers in a fridge--food tends to hide and rot in them and they are a pain to clean. I love the roomy simplicity of this fridge which seems to allow more efficient storage and cleanliness. Also love that it is very energy efficient and will save on energy cost.

I got this fridge last month and it's definitely a better option than what we had! It's wider than my old one but I'm not complaining about the ample space. I do however wish that it had more compartments inside. I love to keep everything together (small cheeses, deli meat, etc) for now The door bin is used for that. It's quiet and also more energy efficient so that's a plus!

Bought this for a basement apt to replace a very old one. It fits fine and does well although the door tends to sweak a bit. It could be it just needs to be tightened up. It isn't fancy but it does its job.

We are very happy with this refrigerator! We wanted one that was eco-friendly, energy efficient, with no frills and not monstrously big. This one really fit the bill for us. The motor does not go on all the time and when it does, it is not very noticeable. We would highly recommend it.

The refrigerator is a good size for a small apartment or condo. Capacity is good for 1 person. It works well, keeps refrigerator cold and freezer colder. It has also proved to be very energy efficient. The only complaint is that there is no full-width shelf in the freezer, only a very small shelf that holds my ice cube bin. All of my freezer items are just stacked in a pile making it hard to find anything and they fall down and block the air flow vent in the bottom of the freezer compartment. The description on the Whirlpool website indicates a full-width wire shelf in the freezer AND there are 3 grooves in each side of the freezer compartment for a shelf, but no shelf. While it doesn't come with an ice maker, one can be purchased. However, it says that a full-width shelf is needed. Is there an optional full width freezer shelf that can be purchased for this refrigerator?

Simple, bare bones refrigerator. Quiet, efficient and roomy; nonetheless wish the butter dish area had a cover and a better freezer shelf. The slide out shelves in the refrigerator prob are quite handy. Great value!

My new Whirlpool Refrigerator is better than I expected! The handles are great, not like the old groves on the side like I had before. The freezer doesn't frost up my food like before. I love going home and seeing it, it makes me very happy! I like it so much I'm going to recommend to my property management company to purchase Whirlpool instead of its' competitor GE.

It's working fine, quiet. The temperature control of the refrigerator could have some improvement. Sometimes it is too cold even for a low setting (2/5).

I was in need of a new refridgerator and I decided to go with whirlpool. It is not too small where I cant fit all of my food. It is not too big where I have no room in my kitchen. It is vedy easy to keep clean. All of the functions are easy to read and understand. Now everything in my fridge stays cold and nothing in my freezer melts anymore. We bought this the week before Easter as a back up, it's in the basement. It was loaded with Easter diner and all the extras and it runs like a champ. It's quiet and it hardly ever runs so I expect that the electric bill won't take too much of a hit. it seems to be well built.

This is the current model, more or less, of the refrigerator we replaced, which served us well for 25 years. We replaced it because it was starting to rust on the outside and for energy savings. It still worked, so we decided to stick with the brand. In our old model, the control panel at the top of the refrigerator section was all the way to the right. In our new model, it is in the center, where it gets in the way of everything! If I have a large pot, I had all that room on the left side to fit it in, now I don't. Instead of one large tall space and one small shorter space, I now have two small tall spaces and one small shorter space. Now, if I want to fit that pot in, I have to take everything out and lower the shelf, and then put it back when I am done with the pot. Ridiculous! Please move the controls back to the side. I may not get a new refrigerator for another 25 years, but if you change the design before then, maybe others will be spared my misery.

This product uses half the energy that my previous fridge. I believe it went from 780 kilowatts a year to 375 kilowatts a year. That's a pretty huge jump for my electric bill considering that my fridge uses the most electricity out of all my appliances.

The sound level of this product is loud and constant and I hear water dripping or draining frequently. Refrigerator rolls every time door is opened.

This product, as sold by Home Depot, came with one large crisper drawer rather that the 2 crispers as advertised.Be aware that the door is thicker than in older models and requires extra space on the side of the refrigerator in order to be opened. This can be a serious consideration when selecting a replacement model. We had to reverse the door, and it is far less convenient than the previous model now.It does not appear to be unusual for refrigerators of this size, but the unit is fairly noisy when operating.
