We bought a home that had this refrigerator. The water always dribbled out, unless you removed the filter. But even then, the water was slow. Eventually, water line to the ice maker kept freezing, which meant we didn't have ice.

I bought this great looking fridgeMy husband wanted water and ice dispenser so it fit the purposebut after three months of use there was puddles appearing on the floorWe thought we had spilled some water and could not remember...But it happened over and over again, it happened when we were gone travelling.it damaged our expensive hardwood floors.The leak comes from the defective water collection pan.The thing is that it does not happen often and the warranty expired by the time you figure out that it is not you at fault but the product itself. So we cannot use the very limited warranty for it because of the time elapsed.I regret buying this product it caused more headaches that anything else. I would go with no water dispenser and save all the headaches.

We bought a whole kitchen set that included this fridge on Black Friday which was a really great deal. I love the ice and water. Like that its 2 different so my 3 year old can make his own ice water without having to press a button to switch it.

I bought this refrigerator 7 months ago and it ran fine until a week ago. The freezer section is good, but the frig is not staying cold, thus the refrigerator is running nonstop.I hope the service dept. can remedy the malfunction before my electric bill is sky high.

This refrigerator is a wonderful addition to our remodel project. It is the perfect size and has all of the features we use without going overboard. It is also very easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a great refrigerator at an even greater price.

Overall Good but poor design on water drip pan!!

I had continual problems with water pooling around the floor and causing damage to new bamboo flooring. I had a plumber inspect the water line and ice maker for problems - none found. I shut the water off completely due to additional leaking & did without the automatic water and ice features. I checked into potential blockage on the defrost. Nothing seemed to help. I eventually layed on the floor and watched the water drip into the water collection pan -- and discovered the problem! The water pan that was installed was completely cracked/shattered on one corner -- leading to the regular leakage. Whoever placed the pan in this refrigerator had to know he/she shattered it but left it there anyway! Gettng the pan out of the refrigerator to tape/caulk the pan temporarily required alot of work -- no easy feat. Such a major problem caused by a simple plastic pan that was defective from the start. I still need to order a new pan but that seems so burdensome -- no easy place to purchase one.

This refrigerator looks really good in our remodeled kitchen. It is easy to keep clean and the storage compartments are perfect size. Keeps food really cold and doesn't seem to consume a great deal of electricity.

Love the fridge, but the door handles have a tendency to come off if there is any upward force at all placed on them while opening the doors. Also the noise from the ice maker sounds as if the whole ice maker just fell off.

I would be happy with this product except for a major quality issue. The doors on the refrigerator rust. I assume that this is do to an inferior grade of stainless, This is such a big flaw that it makes an otherwise good product unacceptable,

We purchased this particular frig after coming home to find our food unthawed & water on the floor. It was an emergent situation & we had no time to order the Whirlpool model we would have preferred. So we selected this one as best choice to match our other stainless/black appliances. Although not top of the line Whirlpool Gold model as our others, the overall opinion of this frig is good. It looks great and is quite functional. The only major challenge that we've had thusfar is the noise level when the water filtration system is cycling. It has taken some getting use to hearing the noise and not being startled by it. Our other Whirlpool refrigs were quiet. Minors: Stainless handles on door seem to show knicks scratches easier than the doors. Freezer has only 1 drawer or basket with multiple shelves vs 2 baskets & 2 shelves we had previously. Otherwise, really good product as is Whirlpool's standard.

The unit works well and interior design is good, but the ice maker is too noisy. Also during defrost cycle the sound of water dripping into catch pan makes one think there is a problem when in fact it is just part of the normal cycle.

I got my new fridge 9 months ago and I haven't had any problems at all with it. It's easy to use and it keeps my food very cold. When it was time to change the filter, this old lady changed it all by herself, mind you I have had the old double decker refrigerators all my life, I changed it with no problems. There's a little noise when it's making ice but it only lasts seconds and then the noise is gone. I would recommend this product to all my friends and family.

This refrigerator has been a blessing with lots of storage space, it's perfect for my family. I don't enjoy going to the grocery store every other day and with this unit I can buy what I need and it all fits in there with room to spare perfect for my 4 person family. I purchased this product on "Black Friday" for it's percieved exceptional value. Not only has it serviced my needs for almost a year, but it has not related a single problem within that time frame. Everything has worked very well. The temperature and all of the functions seem to work very well and it most Denistry serves its purpose of keeping my items cold. That being said, the ice is slow to dispense but that is a very minor quirk in an otherwise very quality product.I actually own the suite of Whirlpool products that includes the dishwasher, rabge hood, and range. I am satisfied with all of the items and look forward to many more years to come.

this product is very good the two things i would change change are the ice maker needs to be smaller takes up to much freezer space and the door slots are too small for most food items. In the Refrigerator section the draws need to slide free they tend to bind up on the opening and closing.
