Leaks water

We've had this fridge for about 14 years and it has been leaking water for the last 4. The ice stopped producing ice and the water feather on the front of the door drips and leaks really bad. Sometimes it wouldn't turn off and would pour water on the floor. We completely unhooked the fridge from the water line and it STILL leaks to the point that it fills up the bottom of the freezer with a huge block of ice. It still freezes and cools really well but this leaking problem EVEN WITH THE WATER LINE UNHOOKED, is a problem. It's causing our trim to rot and I'm worried about mold. No one can fix it. I'm headed to Lowes this afternoon to buy a new one....but it won't be a Whirlpool.

Good, solid fridge

I've owned the refrigerator for about 12 years now. Just recently the ice maker stopped working otherwise it's been a reliable fridge. It may be an easy fix but we decided to stay with whirlpool and upgrade to the French door model. Will probably keep this one in the basement for extra storage.

The only thing I would change about my refrigerator is to have the front of my black doors the same as the sides, more of a rough finish, and not the smooth black. It would be easier to keep clean.

Great refrigerator. Large freezer and refrigerator compartme

I've never had a side by side with an icemaker. I am amazed at the capacity of the refrigerator and freezer compartments. It makes more ice than I can use and I'm very happy with it. The only draw back I have is the price of the filters at over $30.00 and that's only 6 months of use. If I had a family that also used the water and ice the replacement would be more frequent. At first the sounds it made were with water filling the ice maker and ice falling into the bin were bothersome and made the dog bark . All in all this is a great product and I would purchase it again. It's pretty deep and I found using clear plastic bins and pulling them in and out helps to keep it clean and pull food in and out easily

I need to read the manual for information about the different trays and how to best utilize them. The water and ice cubes are a joy for me to use and I am drinking more water than I did before. I like the refrigerator very much and am happy with its appearance.

Over all it is an excellent Refrigerator,How ever it runs alot a little noisy,and the ice maker takes alot of the freezer compartment space,The crisper draws are awesome they do what they are supposed to do keeping your vegs crisp and fresh! lo.ts of room on the right side door for milk ectThis product well worth it..I recommend it!
