However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 573-468-4300 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

repair 2x in 2 years

only had the washer 2 years and this will be the second time I had to pay a technician to fix error and replace parts. purchased a maytag to be worry free. only my wife and i use it, no kids and wash blankets at laundry mat. should do better than 1 year warrantee.

Spin cycle always goes out of balance when washing clothes. Called a repairman who charged me for coming out to tell me that it would cost more to repair it than the cost of purchasing a new washer. I am highly disappointed. The balance springs aren™€™t working properly or broken for the tub.

Maytag has let me down

maytagatl 6/21/2026

5 years ago I paid $955 for a Maytag MVW6230HW2 washer. Over the past 5 years I've spent $400 fixing the machine. Now the transmission is going out, it's leaking oil and the Maytag repair guy says it will cost $1000 to fix it. So after 5 years I have to buy a new machine and it absolutely won't be a Maytag or a Whirlpool.

Good machine

BudBeth 6/13/2026

Good machine overall. I've owned it since 2021. Only had two service calls. One for a fill valve and another for a belt and pulley associated with the sensor. I purchased an extended warranty two years ago and it's paid for itself already. Cleans clothes very good. I recommend only using liquid detergent, and don't neglect the cleaning cycle periodically. I use hydrogen peroxide to clean my machine because bleach will rust anything steel, and the affresh cleaner seems like a waste of money. Overall I've been happy with the machine.

Horrible quality, broke within 2 years!!!

Bob298989 6/9/2026

Products stop working within two years. Of course it was outside the warranty period for the part that had broken. The estimate to get it fixed was $300-$400 for the parts alone then labor. The technicians say this model is known for breaking extremely easily. I will never buy another maytag.

Lasted less than 5 years

Gen H 3/30/2026

I am extremely disappointed with this Maytag washer. I purchased it in July 2021 expecting a reliable, long-lasting appliance, but less than five years later it™€™s already failing. It recently started making a loud, grinding noise during the agitation cycle™€"something you absolutely should not hear from a machine that isn™€™t even that old. For a brand that markets itself on durability and quality, this is unacceptable. A washer is a major household investment, and it should last far longer than a few years without major issues. Instead, I™€™m now dealing with what sounds like a serious mechanical failure and the inconvenience and cost that comes with it. I expected much better from Maytag. If you™€™re considering this washer, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere™€"this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Broke after 3 years

RyanPK24 1/28/2026

Bought this washer in 2023 and had a major part inside it fail. My washer would no longer fill with water. Maytag would not cover this repair via their very limited 10 year warranty (it only covers the motor and the drum) and had to shell out 500+ dollars to fix a 500 dollar machine. What a waste! I feel ripped off. This was my first Maytag product and definitely my last as well.

Terrible Machine - DO NOT PURCHASE

Unhappy Customer from MA 1/7/2026

I purchased this washing machine in August 2024. It worked fine for about 8 months, then in April 2025 it stopped working with error code F7E1. The motor and capacitor had to be replaced. Seven months later, the same error code (F7E1) happened again and the machine stopped working. The capacitor was replaced again, but it still doesn™€™t work and now needs a new control board. I didn™€™t buy an extended warranty because I expected a new machine to last more than a year. Whirlpool is now expecting me to pay for the repair even though this is clearly a repeat issue. Customer service was a nightmare, over 4 hours on hold, transferred to more than 10 different people, and no real help. The only offer was a 20% discount on another product, which is insulting given this experience. I will never buy Whirlpool, or any of their brands like Maytag or Amana, again!

Bought the Washer in October 2025, never had I such a disappointment., most of the time it does not wring out all the water from my clothes, so I have use the spin Cycle to have it spin out the water from the clothes. My old Maytag washer was 40 years old and the only thing I ever had to replace was a belt. I'm lucky if this Maytag will last 5 years really upset in the standards of Maytag is so low, this was not a cheap machine to buy, would never recommend this to anyone, and neve buy a Maytag again

Loud and extra long cycles

Doug Maytag 12/29/2025

I've had this machine for over a year. It's loud, and does not seem to balance heavier loads very well. It also begins to agitate before it's filled with water. Basically agitating the clothes before there is enough water to wash them. Your cant' use the WIFI unless you have a slow speed, 2.5G. Also, the cycles are very long compared to my last washer. I would not buy this again and not sure I'd buy a Maytag.

I don't have much confidence in appliances these days. My previous Maytag washer lasted 4 years. This current model has performed well with no problems. The water level is sufficient to get clothes clean. The internet connection is nice for knowing when a load is done. If performance continues I will be very happy.

Buy something else! Low quality, loud

QualityControl 12/12/2025

Low quality, loud, needed repair within the first 6 months. Avoid. Bought this in Nov 2021, it needed warranty repair within 6 months... which took several visits and months to fix. They gave me $50 for my trouble (which doesn't cover a single trip to the laundromat). I've had enough and removed this from my home in Nov 2025, and did not replace with Maytag. Quality has gone sharply downhill... I also removed its companion dryer which was even worse.

How there is an integrated app that can't tell you when you need to use the Affresh cycle before it gets the clothes wet and you have to take everything out is beyond me. This has to be the worst "feature' I've ever seen in a washer. Had we known about this, we would not have purchased this washer

Great when it™€™s working

CTOP 11/29/2025

In just two years my washer began getting F7E1. Called Maytag for service and the 10 yr warranty is for motor which is highly unlikely to fail. Calling for service I was offered to pay $367 up front for a one time repair or purchase a 12 month warranty for $35.23 per month. So much for big 10 year warranty sticker. I called a local appliance repair and had a capacitor replaced for $130 total. However, it works for awhile and the error returns. The guy is a long time experienced appliance servicer and says that the large basket wobble makes a wire come loose so he attached it to the case with a screw and wire holder. I have had 4 service calls on this machine but he warranty™€™s his work and no additional charges. This is the worse most frustrating washer experience for me EVER! By the way when it™€™s working it works well. However, I feel the wash cycles are very long compared to other brands. Too bad the old Sears Kenmore™€™s are no longer around.

Safety latch is for the weak

Fmaytag 11/24/2025

Lid latch is fragile. Honestly worthless to anyone under 2 years old. Just a money grab designed to fail. The fun part, find a cheap Chinese knockoff latch so I can bypass it.
